Translation of Curriculum and Conceptual materials

Beyond Cultures International has a commitment with Bible Training Center for Pastors (Leaders), BTCP, and David Nelson with Crossing Cultures International to translate the BTCP curriculum & Conceptual materials into the Indonesian language.   David Nelson is the Asian Coordinator for the BTCP Curriculum and oversees 11 Asian countries with this ministry and they have been a friends and brothers in Christ with Beyond Cultures International for many years now.

We have plans to eventually use this concept at the Papua Training Center, PTC, on the 25 acres of land that has been donated to us.   We also plan to begin putting on BTCP workshops throughout Indonesia by 2010.

Pastor and Leader Workshops

Once the Bible Training Center for Pastors first three curriculum books have been translated, we plan to begin teaching workshops soon after throughout Indonesia. We already have several pastors and leaders waiting for this material, is more of a concept for discipleship than simply a curriculum to translate.

The entire curriculum has been translated in draft form and we are now reformatting, editing and in the correcting phase of the translation process!

We have 4-5 books that have been reformatted!  Please continue to pray that we can get the rest done (10 books + Summary) by June 2009.    Also pray that we can get the Workshop manual translated and formatted as well as the Summary manual so we can begin the Leader Training Workshops in Indonesia before 2010.
