Ron was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel with New Tribes Mission in 1993, and has a BA in Intercultural Ministries from New Tribes Mission.

Between the years of 1993 - 2002 he served as home staff and as a foreign missionary with New Tribes Mission, from 1998 - 2002 he and his wife Diana were missionaries with New Tribes Mission in Indonesia, and from 2002 - 2004 they continued serving as foreign missionaries in Indonesia under Grace Outreach Ministries of Boise, a ministry extension of his home church, Grace Bible Church of Boise.

He has ministered in various leadership positions including being an Elder and Deacon of Treasure Valley Bible Church in Boise, Idaho. He has also directed and served on several committees and boards within the church and with previous mission boards over the years, including helping to found Grace Outreach Ministries in Boise, Idaho.

 

Ron was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by Grace Bible Church in May 2003.  He has led numerous Bible Studies, Sunday school classes and has experience in public speaking, presentations, and preaching in numerous churches throughout the United States as well as in a foreign language in the country of Indonesia.

 

He (with his wife) has planned, led, and guided several mission teams to various ministry projects in the United States and abroad including: rural Montana, Jamaica, Mexico, Bolivia, and Brazil. On these ministry projects he was responsible for the physical and spiritual welfare, and the safety of the volunteers while traveling to the destined location.


Ron is fluent in the Indonesian language which is a dialect of Malay.  He is also experienced in conversational Portuguese, and understands much of the Spanish language as well.

In 2002, he helped several Indonesian Christian leaders found a non-profit organization
in Indonesia that is nationally recognized and registered in that country.   Currently, he and his wife, Diana, officially share in Executive board leader positions, by the permission of the Indonesian government, for this organization which has the acronym YMP3, "Evangelism and Discipleship Ministries of Papua".
