Karl Swanson, Executive Board Member and currently serving as Secretary

Karl resides in Boise, Idaho as an Operations Support Director for Washington Group International.   He graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has spent over 30 years in technical and business management positions related to Construction, Engineering, and Facility Management industries.

Karl was raised in Boise and he has worked and traveled internationally in Europe, Colombia, Singapore, and Australia. He is a member of Grace Bible Church and has been a committed Christian most of his life with special interest in education and missions.  Karl and his wife, Teri, have one son and one granddaughter.

Together, with several like minded couples, Karl and Teri founded Valley Christian High School of Boise in 1989, where he served as Board President for seven years. Since then Valley Christian school has merged with Cole Christian School to become the largest Christian school in Idaho.
